The SkyVault CMIS API now supports the CMIS 1.1 cmis:item feature to allow your applications access to some SkyVault object types that are outside the CMIS definitions of document, folder, relationship, or policy.

We've updated our public API to give your applications easier access to your data.
- The full SkyVault 2.0 API is available on SkyVault 2.0 in addition to SkyVault in the Cloud. Now your applications can access content using a single consistent interface.
- The SkyVault 2.0 API has support for workflow objects; deployments, process definitions, processes, and tasks.
- The SkyVault CMIS API supports the CMIS 1.1 specification. SkyVault provides the new CMIS 1.1 browser binding to simplify your web applications, the use of Secondary Data Types to create and manipulate SkyVault Aspects, and the ability to append content to data items.
