This information helps you to create advanced reports in SkyVault Analytics and explains how the REST API relates to SSO (Single Sign-On).

  • Advanced report customization in SkyVault Analytics If the pre-defined and custom reports in SkyVault Analytics do not meet your specific needs, or you need one report to feed another, you can create custom reports and a custom user interface.
  • Web services and SkyVault Analytics When a user views a report in SkyVault Share, the content is pulled from either the Pentaho User Console, or from the Pentaho REST API, depending on whether the report is pre-defined or custom. To ensure continuity, web services enable SSO (single sign-on) filtering through SkyVault.
