There are a number of software requirements for using AOS.
SkyVault Office Services is part of the standard SkyVault installation, and software and hardware requirements are the same as those for SkyVault. See Supported platforms for more information.
SkyVault requirements
- SkyVault 2.0 5.1 or later
- SkyVault Community Edition 5.0 or later
Microsoft Office requirements
- Microsoft Office 2010 (32 or 64-bit)
- Microsoft Office 2013 (32 or 64-bit)
- Microsoft Office for Mac 2011

Note: Microsoft Office 2016 is supported with AOS 1.1.2 and SkyVault 5.1 or later. If you use Office 2016, you must upgrade to SkyVault 5.1 or later.
Important: It is strongly advised that you activate SSL when using SkyVault
Office Services. For more information, see Configuring SSL.
Note: If you are using a non-SSL connection, you must edit your Mac or Windows registry as
specified in Setting up SkyVault Office Services using a non-SSL connection.
