This section describes the PersonService interface.

The PersonService interface provides support for obtaining information about users.

  • getAvatarpublic ContentFile getAvatar(Person person) - returns an object representing the avatar of the specified person, or null if the person does not have an avatar.
  • getPersonpublic Person getPerson(String personIdentifier) - returns a Person object for the user with the specified username.
  • searchpublic List<Person> search(...) - search for members on a given site.
  • refreshpublic Person refresh(Person person) - returns the latest (and complete) metadata for the specified person.
