From the My Tasks page you can view the details for an
individual task or for the workflow that initiated a
task.
Viewing a task lets you confirm you have selected the
correct one before you edit it.
This task assumes you are on the My Tasks page.
- In the task list locate the task you want to work with and position your cursor over it to reveal the available actions.

Click the desired view option:
- View Task: Displays the Task Details page
- View Workflow: Displays the Workflow Details page
Tip: You can also access the Task Details page from your personal dashboard: click the View Task icon for a task on the My Tasks dashlet.The Details page appears displaying the selected view option.

Click the links beneath the banner—Task
Details and Workflow Details—to
move between the two page views.
The Task Details page displays all information related to this task.
- In the Items list click an item to preview it in the library. Click your browser’s Back button to return to the Task Details page.
- Click Edit to manage this task.
The Workflow Details page displays the information for the workflow that generated this task.
- Click View Process Diagram to display a graphical representation of the workflow. A red border highlights the current stage of the workflow. Click anywhere on the graphic to close it.
- Click View Current Tasks at the top of the page to jump to the Current Tasks section. This table displays the tasks generated from the selected workflow. Use the actions provided to manage each task.
- Click the link in the Most Recently Completed Task section to view details on the task last completed as part of this workflow. This task also appears in the History section.
- View all tasks completed as part of this workflow in the History section. In this list you can click a task to display its details.
- In the Items list click an item to preview it in the library. Click your browser’s Back button to return to the Workflow Details page.
- Click Cancel Workflow to cancel the workflow. This action is available only to the user who started the workflow.
