Check In/Check Out API

The Check in/Check out ScriptNode API features methods for check out, check in, and cancelling check out of working copies.
Note: If you want to record version history when using these methods, first add the cm:versionable aspect to a node.
  • checkout The checkout methods perform checkouts of versionable nodes.
  • checkin The check in methods perform check in operations on working copy nodes.
  • cancelCheckout cancelCheckout() this method cancels the check-out of a working copy document.
  • checkoutForUploadcheckoutForUpload() this method performs a checkout of the node for upload.
  • unlockunlock() removes a lock on the node.
