Managing SkyVault Analytics users

Assign users to the appropriate user group so that they can effectively work with SkyVault Analytics.
Make sure that you have created an ANALYTICS_SYSTEM group in SkyVault Share. This group is for system administrators of SkyVault Analytics. See Creating a new group for information on setting up a group.
Users assigned to the ANALYTICS_ADMINISTRATORS or the ANALYTICS_BUSINESS_ANALYSTS user groups can create reports and add them to user or site dashboards.
You should assign users that create reports to the ANALYTICS_BUSINESS_ANALYSTS user group. ANALYTICS_ADMINISTRATORS also have access to the Analytics server. 
Note: The ANALYTICS_ADMINISTRATORS and ANALYTICS_BUSINESS_ANALYSTS user groups are created automatically when you install the SkyVault Analytics AMP files.

Users not assigned to these groups can still see reports that have been added to a site dashboard.

  1. In SkyVault Share, click Admin Tools and then Users.

    You see the User Search page displayed.

  2. Search for a user, and then select the user.
  3. On the User Profile page, click Edit User.
  4. Enter ANALYTICS_BUSINESS_ANALYSTS as the group and click Search.
  5. Click Add next to ANALYTICS_BUSINESS_ANALYSTS.
  6. Click Save Changes.
