This section describes the ModelDefinition interface.

A ModelDefinition contains type information, typically used for correctly rendering forms.

  • getNamepublic String getName() returns the name of the type, such as cm:content.
  • getTitlepublic String getTitle() returns the title of the type.
  • getDescriptionpublic String getDescription() returns the description of the type.
  • getParentpublic String getParent() returns the parent type of the type, and returns null if there is no parent.
  • getPropertyDefinitionpublic PropertyDefinition (String property) getPropertyDefinition() - Returns the definition of the given property, for example, cm:name.
  • getPropertyNamespublic List<PropertyDefinition> getPropertyNames() - Returns the definition of each property defined for the type.
