This section describes the PropertyDefinition interface.

A PropertyDefinition contains property information, typically used for correctly rendering forms.

  • getNamepublic String getName() returns the name of the property, such as cm:name.
  • getTitlepublic String getTitle() returns the title of the property.
  • getDescriptionpublic String getDescription() returns the description of the property.
  • getTypepublic PropertyType getType() returns the property type object for the property.
  • isRequiredpublic boolean isRequired() - Determines whether the property is required.
  • isMultiValuedpublic boolean isMultiValued() - Determines whether the property supports multiple values.
  • isReadOnlypublic boolean isReadOnly() - Determines whether the property is read only.
  • getDefaultValuepublic Object getDefaultValue() - Returns the default value for the property, null if a default value has not been defined.
  • getAllowableValuespublic List<Map<String, Object>> getAllowableValues() - Returns a list of Map objects containing the display name and value for each allowed value for the property.
