Restoring SkyVault Analytics

If you are restoring content for SkyVault Analytics, you must have a working backup that you can use to restore your data.
These instructions show you how to restore your content. See Backing up SkyVault Analytics for information on how to backup your data.
  1. Stop the Analytics server.
  2. Drop the quartz, jackrabbit, and hibernate databases.
  3. Restore the databases from your working backup.

If you do not have a backup, you will need to recreate these databases using the installation instructions. See Setting up the BA server for more information.

  4. Clean out the repository indexes by removing the ba-server/pentaho-solutions/system/jackrabbit/repository directory and its contents.

Note: Make sure that you do not remove the repository.xml file in the pentaho-solutions/system/jackrabbit directory.
  5. Restart the Analytics server.
