- Customizing your dashboard You can change the layout of your dashboard and choose from a number of dashlets to show the information you want to see.
- Updating your profile SkyVault user profiles help you to identify a user's roles and responsibilities, or even find out who's who in your organization by checking profile pictures.
- Joining a site When you join sites you gain access to the content that's stored on them.
- Creating a site You can create a site from anywhere in SkyVault, and are automatically made the manager of the site you create.
- Customizing the site dashboard A site's dashboard displays all information and activities associated with the site. You can customize the site dashboard just the same as you did with your user dashboard.
- Uploading files Adding files from your computer to SkyVault is simple. You can upload a single file or several files at a time.
- Creating Google Docs files You can easily create Google Docs documents, spreadsheets, and presentations from SkyVault.
- Viewing a file You can preview files by clicking on the thumbnail or name in the document library. All file details and actions are available on this one screen.
- Editing files in Google Docs The Edit in Google Docs action is available for any file that can be edited in Google Docs. Common document, presentation, and spreadsheet formats are supported.
- Copying content You can copy content between SkyVault locations, within a site or across different sites.
- Inviting people to a site You can invite existing SkyVault users or those who've not yet joined SkyVault to join your site.
- Creating a rule You can create rules for a folder, in much the same way that you might apply rules to your emails.
- Creating a task You can create a task, such as approving a document, and assign it to yourself or another user. The task is tracked and when it's assigned to you, you can see it on the My Tasks page and the My Tasks dashlet.
- Using social features In SkyVault you can use social features to like, favorite, and comment on files and folders.
- Following people You can follow users you're interested in so that you can easily keep track of what they've been working on.
- Selecting a language As you login to SkyVault you can select to use SkyVault in a different language.
- Switching between networks The network menu displays your currently selected SkyVault network.
